Default where is the BCM in a 06 impala ss

Im tring to find my BCM to fix my tire pressure sensor problem.. but i dont know where the bcm is!!!! ... Can someone please tell me where the BCM is and also verify the tire pressure sensor send their signals BCM...

and just to verify; the bcm controlls the tire pressure sensors ...????

I/P is intrument panel I think. I'm not sure about the other question, but I believe so.

actually, i dont even have an impala im posting all this to help a freind... BTW what you mean about fixing monitors.. i just wanna check out the bcm or whatever is controlling the signal to see if i can visually find any problems or mabye just replace the module and see if the problem stops

There aren't any physical monitors for tire pressure, it's all done using the wheel speed sensors. If one wheel is low, it will rotate slightly faster than the other three.

Check the owners manual. IIRC there's a short blurb about the way that the system works (wheel speed)

yea my buddy got clocked doing 85 tonight while he swears he was 70-75mph so somethin is up

That was on the 05 and older, the 06 uses the tire preasure sesnors in the wheel using the ecm, bcm, ipc, and the remote control door lock reciver. but yeah take it to the dealer unless the tire is low there is nothing you can do for it.

My Service Manager says that the GXP's use pressure sensors?
Even the 05's, are you including them or are you saying 05 impala's have the old way?

Tire preasure sesnors is in the valve stem of the tire, Same as the Corvette. Just some more info..
