BuffaloSS i want ur imapala SS because mine and all the ones at the dealership i work for are all governed at 125. not saying ur a lier but i just cant see how that is. did u use a tuner on it?

Nope...don't have money for the tune...140-141 is where it cut off. Just about every Pontiac GP GXP has said the same, including the guys who do the custom tuned PCMs. 140 is the cutoff. When did you get yours? I picked mine up in September, 05. Maybe that has somehting to do with it?

This week i went to Toronto twice for back-to-back Yankee's games and my wife can attest that my car is not limited at 125. On the way home Tuesday night I hit 133 with room to go, but that's when she got scared and wanted me to slow down. It was during some good-natured racing and maneuvering with a 350Z convertable. He did not want to go that fast, so i won 
BTW, i averaged 90mph on the trip home and turned a 1hr, 40min trip into 1hr, 10min

my gxp shut down at 143, racin a friend of mines modded 1g dsm. {yes i was ahead}
after the pcm, 3rd goes to 152. 4th? uhhhh who knows!
on the dyno the car would shut down at 140 in 3rd.
