Default went to the track with my monte today !!

my very first time at the track, i loved it. i ran consistant 14.1-14.2 consistantly all afternoon. i broke 13.9s twice. it is sooo hard to get this car to hook, if i could hook then i would get better times. here is my best time slip and a link to random pics

Hey, I would appreciate it if you could tell me about the CAI on your car. Like what brand and does it suck air through the fender or does it stop where the box ends, who makes it... I have a 06 Imp SS. Just went to Norwalk (OH) and ran a best of 14.09 @ 99.10, 2.150 60ft time. The track started getting pretty slick, that was my first run ever on the car and the times started falling. Never bested 60 ft time or overall time. Ran a few 14.1's but that was it, consistanty 99.xx mph though. I have not touched the car yet. I do plan on it though. Computer tuning, down pipe and cai are first on my list. Any info on your cai would be greatly appreciated.

the intake is made for MPD hood company but CAI (cold air industries) he makes it by hand and i watched him make mine. 9 inch cone, heat insulation on the walls of inside of box, gets air from behind headlight, guaranteed to get no more then 2-3 degrees above ambient temp into engine when driving. he makes to order, and im assuming its 250-300 for the intake, i would deffently recommend it. his name is derik, here is his number. 1586 531 0121
