If you're talking about the Imp (as opposed to the MOnte), I happen to like the look of the '05 better, but performance-wise this is The One. Granted, it's gonna be a while before serious engine mods are ready for this engine, but eventually they'll come and this engine will be a beast!

The basics? There are 3 intakes available right now (K&N & MPD CAI, and Intense FWI), as well as a Magnaflow catback and a downpipe by JimmyCRacing (with or without a highflow cat, i think). You can get a boxed tune from Westers Garage or Vector Motorsports, or grab HPTuners PC pc software and have at it yourself. Diablo just released their handheld tuner/programmer, but it's kind of restricted compared to the HPTuners software. So the basics are there which should get you 50-60hp, one would guesstimate. I guess that there is enough to keep you busy, with the engine being only 1.5 years old.

www.jimmycracing.com...but i don't see anything there specifying the 5.3L as it once did. Hmmmmm...

cool, thx... yeah, I checked it out... didn't see 5.3 specifically mentioned either... but don't know if that'll be a mod I'll be doing anyway... but I bookmarked it just in case ;-)

I actually ended up swapping out the small SS for the large SS and I am liking it more.
