New pics! WARNING - Image intensive... Finally got around to taking some new pics of my baby - all cleaned up and shiny!
I removed the front and rear gold bowties, the Monte Carlo from the trunk lid, and the little square GM badges behind front tires. Added SS emblem on front grill and moved the SS up from the right trunk corner up to where the gold bowtie was under the 3rd brake light...

What did you do for the SS emblem on the front, just order another rear?? All i did was removed the Bowtie emblem, masked off the chrome and painted it gloss black.
I did that same thing with the back of the car and moved the SS emblem to the center of the trunk the 2nd day i got the car, yours is slightly higher than mine.

BaddLS1SS - The SS from the trunk lid is too small. For the front, you want to use the bigger one that's on the doors - I ordered a door SS emblem ($10 from dealer) and stuck that over the black molded front bowtie - it just about covers the whole thing.
And on the back, I put SS up in the spot where the bowtie was, so yeah, it's a little higher. I had seen pics of yours a while back and that's where I got the idea from LOL - thx!

no, I wouldn't go to West if they paid me to. I went there a couple times looking at a couple different cars, and both times I was given BS about the cars. I had run a carfax on them and I knew more about the car than they were telling me - and once I brought stuff up, they said "oh yeah, well, uh...". And then they tried giving me BS about the employee discount (my mother-in-law is retired GM employee) and not being able to get the other incentives along with it. I'll never go back there.
I go to Blasius Chevrolet in Waterbury - been going there for past 5 years, and have bought 4 cars in that time. Real good people to deal with, straight-forward, and the service dept. is great as well.

Beautiful car. I love the laser Blue. Nice badge work too. Looks like you took some notes off my car. heh. jk. I disagree with the small SS being too small for the front. The small SS fits on top of the black chevy place holder very well for a nice "SS inside a bowtie look". I thought the large SS was too big as it only partially covers the bowtie looking like it's hiding it. I chose to incorporate it instead. But, as it turns out, the big one does look nice in practice....so props to you there. I plan on getting a piece of sheet aluminum fabricated into the shape of a bowtie and painted a nice glossy black to go underneath the SS to really give it a nice clean stock look. (Anyone know someone who can manipulate sheet aluminum in this fashion?) I also debadged the back, but replaced the small SS with a larger one and kept it in the lower right. I thought the larger was justified with the absence of any other rear emblems and the fact that the 80's SS is even bigger in the back (going for a black and red 80's SS look). Your small centered SS is a very interesting look though! Sorry I have no pics of the completed rear yet.

Hey, do the monte's have a chrome trim ring around the fog lights? It appears they do in your pics.
303hp/323tq; approx 245whp (stock); Runs 13.8-14.2 1/4mi stock (actual numbers from members, not Chevy or magazine tested #s); Traction Control is touchy and keeps the 60' from breaking into the 1's (better drivers are seeing 2.2 60's); 3.29 final drive ratio; ummmmm....i'm not too tech savvy so i'm not sure what else you're looking for.
