Cam ?s.

I think Vinci HiPerformance listed one on their web site. Technically, any LSX cam with under .590 lift at the valve (DOD lifter limit) should work. How well it works will be up to you and your tuner.

I went back and looked. You are right. They are only doing the 1.8 rockers. However, if you look at the graph from their ImpalaSS page, it actually says UltraTorque camshaft, 1.8 rockers, and springs. Of course, I wouldn't want to do a cam swap for 18hp. Makes sense that it is a typo and really just rockers.

that is a typo. it was only the rockers and springs. that typo has been corrected.
a vinci cam with .551 lift with the 1.8 rockers would yield a net valve lift of .589. unless the LS4 motor has some different pistons than a standard 5.3L has had in the past, i don't see it having any P to V issues.

Um.. You are not going to get that kind of work warrantied like a factory warranty. It is illegal to put a cam shaft in an engine if it is not CARB certified. Even then that doesn't mean the factory will cover it.
Only way to do it is to just do it and hope nothing show's up because of the cam install. The factory would deny the warranty as soon as they know the engine was worked on like that.

you'd be amazed at what you can get done if you know the right people.
but it would be great if it could be installed at the dealer and still covered.
as far as passing emissions, i don't see why it couldn't. hell the one i want doesn't even make any noise. the only thing it would do is barely blurb a lil on start up. then smooths out to a stock sound.
bless the stealth cams
