Yeah, QUITE the resurrection! 
It was a 9.5. With no vinyl and/or tint experience, and the complex curve of the headlight, it was a PITA. Breaking the headlight apart and painting the inside was easier, imo.

ALso, PM me about your custom 3" exhaust you had. I would like to get one made up, but I need to give Kurt the correct lenths and sizes if you would know them.

Yeah, that's kinda my feeling....not willing to charge for something that might not work in the long run, and surely not willing to do it for free 
THe paint on one of mine is peeling....very small spot & not terribly noticeable...and one of the lenses are showing signs of heat damage (tiny sparkly-like spots on the inside of the lens) that developed after the fact.
FWIW, I have two that need new lenses and new amber reflectors. The chrome is already painted. Might be willing to let them go at some point. I'm always looking for cheap headlights on eBay, but these days they're going for $75-100. I just sold a perfect stock headlight a couple weeks ago b/c I needed the money and figured I wasn't going to need it. THEN i noticed the damage to the lens on the one on the car
I might invest in a heat gun soon and would be willing to try one more time if I can find a cheap headlight to work on.

i might give this a try on my headlights (i have a GXP) im going to talk to my gf, she works at a decal shop.....gonna see if they can whip me up some decals to go onto the headlight instead of painting....perhaps they can match my paint color exactly (wishful thinking).

ok, tomorrow shes going to bring home some samples of the current decal colors they have and if its not the stuff i want, shes going to order it....then have it made.
my question is this.....would there be any other GXP owners that would want these?
also....monty and impy guys, if you guys wanted them, if you could draw up a full scale template of what you want it to look like.....i could talk to her about having them made also, but there should be a master template for each car so there only has to be 3 decal styles. i will only do this if there is enough interest.
i will post up some pictures when the project is completed.
