Rear Wheel Size Change?

Default Rear Wheel Size Change?

HAS ANYONE CHANGED THE REAR WHEELS TO AN 8in? IF SO ANY PROBLEMS?

Assuming you've got a Monte or Imp, i think you're fine with an 8" wheel. The tire width shouldn't exceed 245 though (IMO) PLenty of guys on CarDomain have gone w/20s (one on 22s) on their Imps and haven't mentioned any rubbing.

no actually i have an '06 gxp they have an 8" wheel in front w/ 255 45 18 and a 7" wheel in back w/225 50 18 .kinda dumb i think so id like to go with the 8"255 in the rear also but dont know if would cause any problems w/ the abs?

i would like to rotate my tires so i wont have to buy new ones every 10 thousand miles, plus the rears or tucked up in the fenders more and it looks kinda funny.

I have to agree with you on that one. Since I bought mine ive been wanting to get another pair of 8 inch wheels for the back. It would make the overall stance of the rear end look much better. Just haven't gotten around to spending the money to actually do it.

if you're changin tires or brakes at 10k miles, you might want to slow down a lil bit there turbo.
