Little update to this if anyone didn't know. There's a guy over on clubgp.com that has a cartuning turbo kit on his GXP. I guess it's still in the experimental stages, but he says progress is coming along very nicely. Here's a quick video he posted:

I just began my turbo setup...
was planning on using the downpipe flange, and make a simple cut, weld on a turbo flange and be almost there.... but just decided to put an ext. wastegate there, and create a new Y to replace the crossover. No real need make new manifolds at this point...
Got my injectors... now need an HPTuners setup, and work out about a million bugs
(will be air/water, my goal is 550whp with zero eng. mods, low boost with very large effecient turbo, but trans if of course an issue, as will be many other things..) =)

Well it might be fun for the first WOT run. But the wheel spin it will have might be the fuse that keeps it alive for a bit. These thing still are wrong wheel drive... I wouldnt want a complete ricer roll racer car in the end.
