Default SS Poor Radio Reception

Anyone else not pleased with the FM/AM radio reception? Compared to every other car I’ve had in the last 10 years, the Impala radio reception is lacking to say the least. My remote starter functions seem to be OK, but I haven’t attempted from more than maybe 50’. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve it, let me know.

Thanks.

I got XM a few years back, never play AM or FM since. All 3 of my cars have it. Although when I fully open the sun roof and drive south, the XM gets knocked out (short roof line / spoiler S/R).

So I have to have one or the other

I usually listen to my Sirius. I have noticed if you are parked and listening to regular FM radio when you turn radio down the radio to where you can barely here the music, there is alot of static. The reception seems fine though.

I believe there is a "fix" for this through the dealer. I noticed a programming issue on the GM Service website. Every once in a while, i get nothing but static on all channels, and then a restart of the car fixes that. I haven't had the time to bring the issue to the dealer.
