I like a nice cowl induction hood like the rest of you, but the cowl isn't good for anything but looks. MPD's hood looks like the hood from the Camaro SS and is fully functional.

Yeah, I can see your reference. But if you look at a real Camaro SS hood, the scoop takes up about a tenth to an eight of the hood, and blends with the flow of the body lines.
This scoop takes up at least a third of the hood. Way, way too big for the hood to scale. Look at the T/A style hood in the back ground, a lot more subtle.
GM did a great job IMO with the "aero" look of the MCSS. This hood is too "buldgy" (like a comic super hero's muscles), and the "V" and straight lines don't match because there isn't a staight line on the MCSS. Doesn't fit.

it's a photochop
I meant it too just get an idea for myself while I had a week off from work over the holidays...and then I ran across this forum recently and thought some might be interested
I tried to do another view...but with the shots of my car and the angles from the hood pics...there was a lot of skewing and warping involved and I couldn't get it to look satisfactory for myself...and not to mention I'm still new to photoshop...if i ever get time...i'll try again
