You gonna tint the tails yourself? Have fun! LOL It took me forever to get mine right...and even now i'm not 100% happy with them.

She's gonna look real good, though.

It looks good, but I can pretty much assure you that 35% all around and 20% in the rear will not turn out nearly that dark (I have the same % on mine).

I know a guy that does professional tint film/vinyl overlays on tails, he can throw a couple layers on them for you and they will look awesome!! Much better than spray on and they won't come off. Let me know if you want and I can get you his contact info.

Okay, I will drop him an email to make sure I have all of his most current information. The thing that keyed me in on this one is that the Scion guys send him their taillights and then he covers them in his house then sends them back. Expect to get his information in a couple of days on this thread.

Sweet tails eddie!

Bow - that will be 1 bad looking ride! Silver and black! All cars need window tint.

The tails will complete the look! Doesn't GTS or someone make the $40 tail blackouts yet?

Nope...no blackouts yet. Sellers keep trying to pawn off 00-05 covers for the Imp/MC on eBay, but nothing yet. While i like mine a lot, they're going to need the same attention that the body panels get come spring. I can already see swirls in the clearcoat.

Yeah - after years of loving the deep jeweled dark colors, sure is nice to have a no hastle bright red!

The nice thing about the way this guy does the vinyl, he wraps the vinyl all the way around the light and then heat shrinks it. Most overalys just cover the visible portion. Wrapping it all the way around like he does allows it to stay seated and not peel up as easily after years of use.
