I really like how the black looks but its just to much work to keep clean. The wife's car is black and it stays dirty.

The only thing I don't like about the MCSS is the rims. If I had one, the rims would be first to go.

I like my GXP, the main reason I bought it was for the HUD. My 2000 GTP had HUD and I couldn't live without it. Plus I'll probably have a kid within the next two years so I had to go with the 4 door.

Congratulations on the new car, it's nice to have a car that's under warrenty

That's one of the thoughts I had at first, but after a couple months, these pie plate looking rims look killer on the car IMO. Get a lot of older Monte owners asking me where I park my car at night!

I also can respect the V-8 "family car" approach. Win / win for all involved - plus the rumble of the V-8 will help the kid fall asleep.

We have the kids in mind too and we felt this was the biggest bang for the buck. She gets the family car and I get the v8. Plus I have the ws6 under a cover in the garage with a hole 6k miles on it.

Dang - you beat me! Mine rolled 8K last summer!

You'll definitly get your V-8 fix with the car. Enjoy!

I think I have spent more time changing the oil then I have driving the car but it is worth it. It turns so many heads when I take her out. The GXP will reduce the temptation of wanting to drive it everyday.

Congrats on the GXP Bryan. You got a couple sweet rides there. I'm a former pontirack man myself.

GXP has fender vent, unique front and rear bumper, different exhaust tips than other GP grade.

Thanks - the ImpSS guys only have some badges and high-polish exhaust tips and rims as well. Knew about the grill, but not the rear bumper, will have to look close on a lot next time I'm there to see what you mentioned on the rear.

Personally I wish there was more "in your face" styling differences for the 4-doors so you tell something was up from farther away.
