Spark Plug ?'s

Hey guys,

Does anyone know a pure platinum or iridium plug that is 1 heat range colder than the factory plugs? Thanks in advance.

Non platinum though... NGK-TR6 plugs are 1 heat range colder.

Are those Iridiums or just a copper tip? I am confused are they one heat range colder or one heat range hotter? I am looking for colder ones. The last post said +1 so that leads me to believe they are hotter. Thanks in advance.

A: why do you NEED platinum or iridium?

B: NGK plugs are diff than say champions, the higher the # the colder the heat range. Stock NGK spec plugs for these engines are TR55's, the TR6 is one heat range colder. I beleive they are copper.

Are you going to be spraying?? If so stay away from the platinum etc...

Not going to be spraying. Personally, I'd like to get platinums for long life. Does anyone know the autolite equivelent to our stock plugs? As I mod I want one heat range colder plug to reduce some potential KR. I did this in my old 2001 GT and it worked out well for me. Thanks in advance.
