Yes, the big box part that hold the tube everyone is removing. One of those lower tabs is missing. I hope that isn't the price they're showing or I'll definitely go the K&N FIPK route. I was hoping to just keep it stock looking and only change the filter...

Heck, tell me what you find out and i'd consider trading you my stock bottom box for yours and some money. I have no intention of ever going back to stock, unless it needs to go in for intake/combustion/tranny warranty work, and that would only be for the duration of the repair, really.

His perfectly fine part for your busted one? How's that an even trade?
Come on dude, he didn't say he wanted a fortune for it, just some money. Buff's a great guy and he's not going to rip you off. He is trying to help you out. From my quick research, even if you can get a hold of just that part of the airbox you need, you're probably looking at $75 - $100. Make him a reasonable offer, I'm sure he'll give you a fair deal.
Also, you can't go to the dealer you got the car from (if you got it from a dealer) and get them to get you a new part? It's not your fault they didn't catch it when they bought it.
Good luck.
