Default Couple questions

After finishing putting my K&N aircharger on I forgot to reconnect my battery and I tried to start my car. I couldn't take my keys out of the ignition so I had to reconnect the battery with them in the ignition. When I did this I heard a click. Could this have done any damage?
Also now after I shut my car off it makes a puff sound. That's from the K&N aircharger right?

Dont do it a bunch of times but it will be ok. The little thud or puff sound it makes when you turn it off is ok too, mine started doing it after I pulled that piece at the front of the intake out.

I have the K&N CAI and I don't hear any puff. Maybe I'm not paying enough attention?

Mine is only noticible when I pull in my garage at around 2 am when I get off work, so its got to be pretty quiet outside to hear it.

the noise when you shut it off is the ETC closing, its cocked a 1/4 way open roughly so it idles...
