Default Can your LS4 hang with mine?

Got the DR's mounted up last night and was doing some testing. With a massive heating they work OK.

However the sidewall height is ALOT shorter than i expected, the car kinda looks dumb with all the wheel well gap in the front now.. but it works for now.

Check out this 0-100 vid. Stalled it up to about 2500 and let it rip as hard as i could and it still spun a bit you can hear, but its almsot instantly at 60 mph

did you just have it Drive, hold the brake til the 2500 rpm then just mash it, or did you manually shift?

I noticed you got to about 6500 rpm... mine shifts just before redline, I can't get that far up into it...

Looks like you still have the shift point a 6000ish for 2-3 shifts? I am amazed on how that still keeps pulling to 6500 in first. Have you thought about raising the 2-3 shift to a higher rpm?

Ver-y nice! How much?

Good work dude - looks like you're ready to go.

Spun my tires trying to get out of a traffic jam line yesterday, thought - damn! Looks like the D/R's addresses the massive tire-spin issue, like on the F-Body's. Looked like you also got some "gear" out of it too.

What are you thinking: 4 -6 tenths???

You can see the gear posistion in the vid, i just left it in O.D. And all i di was bring the rpms up to about 2200 and floored it and let off the brake by 2500.

I have those 1.8 rockers and good valve springs so i have the shift point commanded for 6500 in 1st. I call it out to shift at 5900 for the 2-3 because its actually quicker that way, it kinda noses over winding out any higher at those speeds, it works to get it to fall back into the meat of the power band. I gained a solid 1.5 tenth from shifting at 6100 and dropping to 5900.

Not sure if im gonna make it to norwalk on friday, but next week i will hit the local track.

Id guess anywhere from 12.9 to 13.3 would be about how quick it is. The car is an animal right now and was a complete handful for a buddies modded 06' STi last night that is way hotter than a stock one and prolly traps 108+ and he slowly pulls me way up top, dead even from a 20 mph roll to 80 though.

I have a ways to go.

Did you change the speedo before you went out since the tires are a little smaller?

No, his speedo would be optimistic by a fair amount (6%). So the run is actually from 0-94 MPH, still very nice!

Call me optomistic... but im gonna be looking to break this pig into the 12's as it sits.

I mean it went 13.6 @ 102 with a 2.1 60 foot in fall with just the intake, tune and DP. A 1.8 60 foot would have got me close last year.

So if i can nail a sub 2.0 60' and with the new found power it should be able to do it.

definitely, if you can drop that 0.3 at the start, you are looking at 12.9xx with your spring/rocker combo, maybe even a 12.8xx.

Good luck!
