No idere, I agree it is annoying, in my Scion tC it was complicated too, emergency brake up, car to on, turn off, hold in trip meter, turn car on, plug in seatbelt, do three flips, turn on windsheilds wiper, . . . or something to that affect

"Your door is ajar...Your door is ajar... Your door is ajar..."
"HEY! CLOSE THE #&%#^& DOOR MOTHER#&#&^!"
We need those kind of warning chimes.![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
My GXP just flashes the little red idiot light at me, no chimes.

The only time I don't wear them is when I'm moving cars around in the drive way. But I never even thought about it since mine does not "Ding", it just has the light on the dash.
Wearing belts is a safety issue. After all these years it's now a habit with me and I do require anyone who rides with me to belt up. I do so because I'm responsible for their safety. But I also hate to tendency of many to condemn someone’s personal choice, even if it's safer and a bad one.
Since we’re off topic with the original question, how many of you who feel so strongly that Tony wears his belt for his own safety have participated in speed contests on the street and jeopardized yourself or other drivers? Been there done that and paid
a big price at a young age.
Sorry to preach.

When i was installing the switch's for my exhaust cutout and i had the trunk pop/light control unplugged i noticed the doors did not ding with the keys in. Maybe experiment with that
