Well for around $1500-1800 his girls GTP will run mid to high 12's at 107-110 and still be very streetable getting around 17MPG city/ 29MPG hi-way. If your gonna get a GXP try to sell your Monte straight out, because I would hate to see what you would be offered on trade in. Good luck with that.

I will tell you, i had a rental grand prix last fall. It was just the six cylinder, but i wasn't really impressed. I found it really uncomfortable and distracting on the inside. Perhaps I just like simplicity.

Just out of curiosity, how is the stereo in the GXP better than the Impalas? I've never heard how the GXP sounds so I can't say. Does it still use Bose components or is it something different?

It's just a little different, personally I have never been really impressed with Monsoon systems. I have never heard them in Grand Prixs, but I have heard them in Grand Ams and thought the sound quality was awful.

What car you like comes down to that persons taste. I had a 2006 Impala SS and now I have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP and for myself I see alot more + that they added on the GXP over the Impala. To each there own

Yeah, that's what it says to do Jabronie.

To be honest, interior aside, i'd have chosen a GXP if i could have gotten a similar deal. The local Pontiac dealers were pretty firm with their prices on these due to the "uniqueness" of the GXP line. Not many available back in late 05. I was considering a leftover 05' GTP out of MI but in the end couldn't afford NOT to trade in my Explorer, and doing so over a few hundred miles wasn't happening. Now i'm kicking myself that i did get rid of it. For the $1800 i got for it, i could have afforded the extra $20/mo and wouldn't be looking for a 2nd car/beater right now.

Your tuff luck for rotating the tires. Unless you take them off the rim and swap rims because of the tread pattern etc. I got a hole in my front tire on the weekend and I used the run flat stuff that comes in the trunk, went to a dealership to see how much the bottle is to replace 89.95 I asked the guy if that was for a tow and a tire repair. Go to Canadian tire and you can buy that bottle for less then $10.00.

That's an effing retarded amount of money to charge a customer for that...at least one that you'd hope to have back some day. Spend the $5 on a can of it from any corner store and tape it to the inflator
