Are monte carlos supossed to have a popup sunroof wind delfector?? THANKY

nope. i think only the impala does

The Impy's deflector does not seem to make a huge difference in wind noise, but boy does it ever catch dead bugs!

I think it does. On my test drive the salesman pulled it down and i could tell a noticeable sound difference. However, I sit so tall I was forced to order one without a sunroof

Wonder if the deflector could be "made" to fit either a Monte SS or GXP. It would be nice to kill some sound with the sunroof open and then big chunk of plastic mounted to the top of the car, just doesn't appel to me.

I noticed the deflector missing when I first got the car ... dealer said it was not installed any more.

There are bosses for the deflector, my guess is that you would need the plastic spoiler style one from the 2000 - present Monte instead of the fishing net the Imps now have.
