With drag radials i should be able to get my 60 foot times down to 2.1's and that alone should get my 1/4 mile times to the low 14's.
All my car has is the magnaflow catback and a K&N air filter.
that was my first time at the track and it was ALOT of fun...even if you don't run well its worth going. I cant wait to go back again. Best thing to do when your there is to walk around and talk to the other people running front wheel drive cars and see what ideas they have for launching their cars. The best advice I can give is get your 60' foot times down. For us in our MC's and Impalas, the most important part of the 1/4 mile run is getting your car to hook up and launch. Compare my et's and my 60' foot times and you'll see what i mean. Even with my best 60 foot time I have alot of room for improvement.
Try this next time launching your car. Brake torque your car to about 2500 RPMs, let off the brake at the same time start putting your foot into it going WOT. Say the word "Hippopotumus" while doing so, when you finish the word you should be at WOT. It seems silly but in the W body world this is a proven method for launching your car.
Also try pumping up the rear tires to around 40 PSI or so to help with weight transfer, and lower the fronts to around 24-26 PSI on street tires for traction at the track.

Just for clarification, I was mistaken, when he said SS I kinda forgot what forum I was in and I was thinking the LT1 94-96 SS. And to let you know my Goat weighs 3655. And for the record all of these cars are heavy, give me a break!
