open call for a friendly drag. Anyway, in Northwest Il here (Lake in the Hills), anyone looking to meet up for a nice casual drag race at either Byron or Union Grove over the next week? I can almost promise a win for you as I refuse to race in anything other than full street trim (like to know what I will run for real, not with low weight/stickies/etc). Just looking for a baseline and a decent race. PM me if you are interested. <beyond> full weight Impy, my fat *** (260lb), 40lb+ front tire ''competition".
the tires and rim weigh 53 lbs. and that is exactly how i run my car. stock tires and full trim. that way i know exactly how i run and who i can run on the streets. the group i went with was taking out all their seats, spare tire, and jacking up their rear and using wire to keep it up. sure u get a fast time but on the streets u wont run anything like that. and i got a buddy in a mustang gt that used slicks and hit a 12.9 at the drag way, but on the road i spanked him 3 times and he doenst know why. lol he is like ( my car runs high 12s) i was like dude u were using slicks
