Default Monte carlo tires

Hey guys i just checked my tires a week or so ago and looks like they may have been a little over inflated because all the burnouts i've done over the past year has eaten the middle tread of the tire down to the wires and now i've purchased 2 new front tires i have 18,000 miles. How is everyone else's tires doing "no i didn't rotate" my back tires are like brand-new still. The new goodyears i got are alot stiffer then the stock tires. Every time i buy a new set of tires i'm amazed at how much a diffrence new tires make in improved handling.

Honestly, I have owned 3 monte carlo's that have come with the goodyear eagle RS-A's and I have taken them off right away. They do not last. I would look into the Michelin Pliot Sport A/S which is my favorite tire or maybe the new Eagle F-1 A/S tire from Goodyear. I hear that tire is going to be a hot seller.

yep... Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's are gonna be my replacements... already been preparing for them...

but I've gotta say, the stock Goodyear RSA's have lasted pretty well.. 33,xxx miles and they'll still be good up to the winter...

You will love those Michelin tires. I had them on my 04 SS supercharged and they really hooked up when I hit the gas. They also did really well in the winter. I am still thinking about those F-1 A/S tires, but im still not sure on goodyear anymore.

I just hope the F-1 A/S are as good as they say they might be.

Doing burnouts always eats the middle tread fast cause when your spinning the tire at a fast speed the tires egg shape themselfs, just like a funny cars tires in a burnout.

I almost bought the eagle f-1 GS-D3 but the khumos were cheaper.

My front winter tires are like that. Completely bald in the center with two rings of tread on the outside. I'll need 2 new winters next year for sure.
