I guess you guys are a little older than me, b/c just about every Buick for the past 10-15 years screams "grandpa's car"...minus the late 90s, early 2000 Regal GS, maybe, but even grandpa had a hottie every once in a while.
Agree ...

I had a navy blue '98 S/C GS - very clean with the black trim / dark windows and the gray ground effects. Caught enough flack for the HUGE radio display, but the car had the power to put in down back then.

Had a ton of AARP mailings after I bought the car, wonder why?

I think Buick has missed the young crowd since then.

and they never did. The body panels, badging, etc show it to be a Skylark (with an incorrect Gran Sport badge slapped in the wrong place.) Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful car (and very well may have been upgraded from the 350-2 barrel that 90%+ of them were built with to GS running gear), but not a very good clone, heck, did not even bother getting a GS ram-air hood.
I am a huge fan of the Buick's (the '69 GS400 is my favorite, you have not lived until you have whacked open the throttle on a high compression big block and fed it through a 4-speed to a 3.64 rear end). Hate to see them identified incorrectly. Anyway, sorry for the interruption, back to your regularly scheduled lives, I am late for that pesky work thing.
