Shifter?
from what I've seen/read, any auto shift handle should work, as long as it has that button on it... but I'm not sure...
anyone have any more info about doing this?

I'd like to see how it looks if and when you do it though.The f-body guys can install ones without buttons even though their stockers have buttons. They tell me to shift all you do is push in (down) slightly. What I am still trying to find out if we need that button to change gears on a 4t65-hd tranny....I need someone like Compg to chime in here before I hack it up

Is what you are saying is the new shifter just sits on the shaft loosely and when pushed down it engages the plastic? So what do the extra washers/parts do that they give you for fit (see the first picture) do?
Still TTT, need some more ideas/consensus...
