Default Which shift kit is better...

Would you buy the Thrasher kit from 3800performance or the ZZP kit?

I'm also checking to see if this gear ratio conversion kit works with our cars. Here's the link.

I was think of getting a kit and was wondering the same thing. Intense Racing has a couple of shift kits on there website too. From what I've read I think most peolple went with the zzp.

You looking at going 3.29 or 3.69? I think those should work.

I used the thrasher shift kit on my old 1997 GTP like 7 years ago. The metal bushings gouged up the accumulator pins and led to causing a lot of crazy shifting problems. I've been running the ZZP kit for the last couple of years in my 04 Comp G with out any problems.

How hard is it to change the gears do you have to take it off the motor?

pretty much a whole front clip drop followed by tearing apart the tranny.
