Default Gauges

Has anyone here installed some gauges in their ride? I wan't to add some, but can't find a pod to fit our cars. Looking for either a pod for three gauges on the a-piller or something to go on the dash. Any suggestions?

Any info on how you did that? Looks like a nice job! Exactly what I want.

I started with a extra piller and a unversal 3 pod piller. Used a heat gun to form the pod to the piller the best I could Then used fiberglass to clean up all the seams. and some bondo to smoothed it all out.(hardest part) -steve

I would try one for a SS but finding the piller is the hard part. Mine was easy to find because all the 04 and up gp's are the same. -steve

dfjeezy...if you don't have a line on parts...check out ZSPOT at NAIOAcom. He might be able to get you a deal on the A-pillar.

Problem is that ours appear to be almost fabric covered...the texture is weird...would be tough to make the pillar look like it should, compared to the rest of the car.

Yeah, I was looking at that. I'm not sure that texture would be something I could duplicate.

The GXP has the same texture. People who are making their own arent duplicating the texture. Some sand down the other side to match. One guy painted both sides with a stone fleck paint....not quite my taste, but gave it some texture.
