Default 2008 impala ss

As far as ordering a cai, exhaust and HP tuner, where would anyone recomed to get what?? Also, is there any differences between the 2008 SS and the prior versions that I need to know about??? Can I order parts for a 2007 for my 08 or is there anything different?? Thanks all.

For the CAI, we're assuming nothing has changed, so you can go with the K&N or the Cold Air Inductions setup. Same with the exhaust, nothing has changed AFAIK. Shortly after it came out, i was able to get the Magnaflow exhaust for $530, iirc, but now the best deals appear to be $650 or so through various vendors. Shop arround, and then contact SummitRacing to see if they'll price match. If you want to have one customized, pick your mufflers and tips, and then figure another $300 to have stainless, mandrel bent piping done for you at a reputable shop...anywhere from $500 to $600 tops.

For tuning, HP is the way to go for 2008.

with just the CAI, cat back and hp tuner what type of HP/TQ numbers is everyone getting?? Wonder what the gain in 1/4 mile is???
