need help with hp tuners

need help with hp tuners can anyone help me tune my car with the hp tuners software. i have absolutley no experience in tuning anything (except my little 1/8 scale nitro rc cars) and am not going to bother purchasing the software unless i have someone who knows what they are doing helping me. thanks.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unless you find a very generous citizen, the best you can get is tips on where to start. The trick is to search and search and search and read and read and read. I have a few tuning guides I've found from searches (that im not sure i should have) they wont do it for you, but they might help. PM me if you decide to get hptuners and ill send you what information I've found on the topic.
You might want to be more specific in what exactly you want to tune. You probably want to up the tranny line pressure and shift points to supplement your shift kit right? I'm not an HPTuner, yet, but you'll get more help by asking more specific questions.

yea i wanna make the most out of my shift kit, get as much power out of the motor as possible, raise the stock shift points, eliminate top speed limiter, and tune anything else that anyone has tuned using the software.

Where are you located? Maybe one of us here can recommend someone based upon your location. For example, I know of an expert LSX tuner in Tempe, AZ.
Based on the fact you have a shift kit I don't think I would be so gung ho about upping the line pressure electronically. I had my SS tuned last Saturday and I remember us altering the table; IIRC the max value was 96 (as in psi). Secondly, you may want to check out my longwinded thread "Detailed Info about Dyno Tune I Done on Saturday" which gives some insights that may be helpful.

Its not really something to dick with unless you know exactly what you are doing... its help that they give descrips @ each tab to let you know what it does, but you can adjust EVERYTHING and one fat finger move can paralyze it if in the wrong area...
