Anyone else shitty in the snow?
Sounds like you should buy yourself an old beater for the snowy days. If you need to put chains on your cenvertible Camaro, you're driving the wrong kind of car in the winter.
In my first winter with the RSA's she did excellent...but they were only a couple months old. By the next winter, i needed to invest in snows. Going into my third winter already and have the snows installed already.

Same here. My RSA's did okay in the snow last year when they were nice and new. Now that they have some mileage on them, they are horrible in even a little bit of snow. I invested in snow tires on separate rims this season.
I had a great time this weekend (mainly yesterday and this AM) in the 9"+ of snow we got here. As i mentioned before, i've got the Pirelli Snowsport 240s on the front and the Dunlop Wintersport M3's on the back and she handled like a champ. Couldn't be happier...unless it was in an AWD TBSS

Haven't had a good test of my snow tires yet. Barely a dusting around here. I have them on a separate set of 17" rims. They are Winterforce tires with carbide-tip studs in them. I'm pretty confident that they will do well.

It's the tires, I had the RSA's on a AWD Trailblazer SS and 2 inches of snow was scary after 1/2 a season. The tires suck, basically some blizzaks in the winter and a summer tire in the summer/spring/fall. Extra tire life having two sets, just a big initial investment in rubber...

Thanks Nacho ... that car was specifically ordered and purchased to sit in the garage, as an example of one of the "last" Camaros. It shows very well now, but I rarely drive it these days because I'm afraid it will get damaged, which takes the "fun" out of the car.
