Default getting nitrous

after the holiday season rolls around im ordering nitrous for my 07 impala ss.
just like wnyimpala im going to be running a 100 dry shot dynotune kit. not long after i install it im going to get a tune and hopefully be in the 12's because the only other 06/07 impala ss that i know of with just nitrous and an intake ran a 13.29 and my car is going to have alot more so hopefully it will be into the 12's.....and if i had say a turbo the possibilities would be endless

Make sure you get a window switch as well so you don't spray into the shifts and redline the car...tranny go b00m.

Was going to do the same thing on mine cause of the bang for the buck factor but am also skeptical about it because of the BANG FACTOR

Be careful with that "Tune" factor with Dry NOS! Tunes have aggressive timing curves and usually pulse injectors a little more, which means you better have enough umphh left in your fuel system to supply both the NOS and your "tuned" set-up ( maybe some timing retard set-up) . Most bolt-on dry kits do not recommend a tuned computer! There's probably a reason why the other Imp only has CAI and NOS! Not that It can't be done just gotta be careful!

I was going to mention a tune....you are right. With the laughing gas you have to watch AFR and should have a wideband guage.

be very careful in the way you fog the mas air. if the nozzle isn't placed right, you will freeze the mas air, and the afr will run dangerously lean. i vote for a wet kit, but thats just me.

thats what i was looking for but from the research ive done i couldnt find any wet kits that would work with our motor that anyone has used

i have had both wet and dry kits on my old ls4.

wet kits are simple as hell. a basic wet kit is all you need. the schrader valve on the fuel rail is a -4an fitting. your basic size fuel line in a wet kit. if you do a dry kit, i have a fogger halo that i used in my car as well. the rest of it is up to you. i would highly suggest playing with jet sizes as well. don't limit yourself to just 2 or 3
