Rush of liquid noise in dash
Rush of liquid noise in dash Hey guys. When I first got my car I would rarely get this sound of rushing liquid in my dash board when I would accelerate normally from a cold start. Lately the problem seems to be getting more and more often to the point where it will do it even from a warm start. I've read about others having this issue in the past...but I never heard about it again. Has anyone figured out what causes this?
Well, like I said, the problem has gotten worse...so I don't know about "working itself out" in my case. I have about 19-20k on my car. Yeah mike, if you find it let me know. That would be good information to give the dealership!

I had this issue and noticed that my coolant overflow was really low. Don't know where it went, but added some to overflow and checked the radiator. Needed to add a small amount, and after about a week it was back to its quiet self.
My wifes 04 gp had this problem. It went away when i checked the overflow and found that it was empty. I filled it up and the noise soon went away. Mine "consumes" coolant so i've got some other issues as well.
I'll check out the overflow tank guys. That might just be it. The sound was happening A LOT yesterday morning....Any time I would accelerate from a stop it would do it. Very annoying.
In the amount of time it took you to post here, you could have done that!
