Default Hypothetically speaking....any interest in a turbo kit?

So, let's say I was getting rid of the car....would anyone be willing to buy the turbo kit?

I also have the new tranny that I got put in over the holiday's which let me tell you makes the most insane difference in the world.

I'm trying to sell the car complete first, but if that doesn't work out I would like to let people know I'm looking at parting out.

-Cartuning Turbo kit (only one out there as of right now)
-Turbonetics T66 Turbo
-Front Mount Intercooler
-all piping ceramic coated (Currently I have the non-coated pipes but will be getting brand new piping from Kevin before I sell the car)
-E-cutout on the downpipe
-Alky kit
-42lbs injectors
-LT1 MAF
-Custom tuning, Kevin spent hours and hours and hours tuning my car

-Fully rebuilt Transmission (This thing performs/shifts like a monster)
-All new Raybestos Clutches/steels
-Proper shift kit installed with new springs, as well a 4th gear shift kit is installed
-15/16th chain with 3.29 gears
-300m input shaft
-Valve body work to increase line pressure
-custom work done to the tranny to make it overall perform better

I'm probably forgetting stuff.

PM me please.

It really doesn't help that you haven't thrown out a price for the kit. There has been plenty of interest (some BS, some serious) in the turbo, and if they know what they can get yours for, it might help someone to decide. Remember, people are getting their taxes soon...although I don't know many that are getting $6k (or more) back.

If I sell the turbo separate it would be probably roughly $4500 + shipping or whatever.

Tranny the best thing to do would be to meet up with someone at a shop and get them swapped. I would think $2000 and the other covers the labour (here it's only $300 to re and re a tranny)

I would not say no one is serious...but dropping 5 grand or even 7 grand is a huge deal.....not usually an amount of money people have laying around for a DD.

4500 would include everything in the kit just like new with tuning included just as if you bought the kit, or if you don't need tuning I can reduce the price a bit.

Because If I need to include tuning I will set that up with Cartuning so that the buyer has the proper tune for their car. If I don't have to worry about that then the price is lower.

Just at a different point in my life, don't need to be driving a close to 600hp car. Not to mention with the new law in effect as of end of last year where if you are caught driving 50km/h over the limit (30mph over) you get automatic licenses suspension, car impounded for 7 days and between a 2k-10k fine no questions no opportunity to appeal. Not to mention you'll get dropped from the insurance company and you are SCREWED.

It literally takes a few short seconds to exceed this speed with my car, a speeding ticket I can handle, but the implications above I can't so what's the point in having all this power?

I heard about those Canadian Laws a 80 - some year old Grandpa got stopped for going over 80 and got the same treatment as a street racer. That sucks

Yes, it's very retarded. Before 30mph over the limit you would get a pretty good fine, but not more then $400 and get a couple demerit points and depending how much over the limit you could be charged for dangerous driving but still could go to court to fight it. No more of that, very retarded.

Anyways, enough with my rant that's not the point of this thread.....anyone want the fastest LS4 in world title?

Honestly, I would love to see what might be coming in the way of a supercharger kit for our cars.... hint hint hint hint hint hint hint...
