Tpms
If you did leave them in the stock wheels, there's a chance they went bad. There was a guy on naioa.com that had his go bad while they were just sitting in storage.
Those sensors go bad because of very crappy / BS'd validation or more than likely in this case out of spec production issues from a "low cost supplier" on a $30K vehicle.
Get in car, start, clear TPMS warning message / all warning messages, drive.
Are the e-bay solutions non-OEM? No way I'm paying $80 + install to do this over in 20K.

I used to use the TPMS to monitor the tires when they heat up, mine were very close in accuracy. I have a TPMS mirror for my Z28SS, but never installed it because I'd lose the only interior lights in the mirror.
BTW - these are not the "tool" reset ones (which were rare earth magnets, IIRC)
B/C i didn't know you could eliminate the system altogether, I bought a new set of sensors for my spring/summer/fall wheels. Won't know if they work 'til I get the set installed in a couple months.

I believe the TPMS monitoring can be eliminated from the ECM at the dealer.
