Default Power Steering Problems

I have seen a post on here about power steering lines on are cars bursting or going bad in cold weather. I live in Alaska so i think cold weather qualifys for me but I keep going to the dealer to get it fixed and they keep blowing me off, can I get any help from some chevy employees of what I can do to make them fix it or some folks who have had prior experience with this issue. THANKS

Is it leaking? What are the symptoms? What's the problem, exactly?

On my wife's 06 Impala SS, the cable came off while she was driving on the highway. They got it fixed and back in less then 3 hours.

There is a TSB about the cable and clamps with the cold weather, etc

One of the TSBs for the PS problem did involve a line bursting. I had it happen. I can't imagine that the vehicle has lasted in Alaska if it hasn't already been done.
