The 255's are a closer match, speedo-wise. They're within .8% of the stock size yet provide a 3/4" wider footprint...which results in the speedo being off .4mph @ 60. The 245's are off by 2% (still within acceptable limits), and result in a 2.1mph difference at that speed.
HOWever, it's not recommended to put the 255 on the stock wheels, as they're designed to install on an 8"-9.5" wide wheel. The 245's can mount on a 7.5-9" wheel. IIRC, ours are 7.5"? Or are they just 7"? If it's the latter, going with the 245s would be a stretch (both literally and figuratively), and may cause the sidewalls to bubble outward a bit and look funny.
I guess someone who has done the 245's needs to speak up about how they've held up, as what I posted is just technical information with no real-world results.
