Default What is wrong with this and how does this happen??

Ok this first pic is just for fun i took after i washed it and noticed these next 2 problems

So as u can see on the
inside of the tire its worn so bad. the tires have about 20kmi and the fronts dont look near as bad. Is the rear end out of alingment??? ima take the car in next week for iss and ima have them look at this also. i just cant believe how an 07 w/ 20kmi looks that bad on the rear tires.
If there is a problem can i get the deal to replace the rear tires or am i **** out of luck?
also ive never had a car new enough to have a warranty, and the other day someone wrote that the dealer gave them a rental car. Is this common or am i walkinng home most likely???

I suppose you havn't been rotating your tires it kinda avoids problems like this. I check my tires often mostly my fronts due to burning the center tread from doing burnouts. i went threw my rs-a's at 16 thousand miles and my G-Force Goodyears are starting to get on there last leg. but i still have my stock rs-a's on the rear with brand-new looking tread "29000" miles

I have 47,000 miles on my original stock RS-A's... rotate 'em every 3k miles... and they're still not even down to the wear marks.. been running with 'em all through this winter too...

new tires this year will be the goodyear eagle F1 all-seasons....

You can not rotate the gxp wheels....the fronts are different than the rears.

***k the PM's, Dude, get rid of the pic of the towers. That is likely the MOST ignorant postings i've seen in a long time.

Anyway, your alignment is way off, and you should have been keeping an eye on this, so they'll likely tell you you're SOL. If you caught the poor alignment before 10k, they may have fixed it for you, but now it's on you, i'd say.

Rotating does not avoid anything it simple masks a problem longer. I agree on rotating in general especially with FWD to even things out, but frankly I’d want to know about an issue like that and get it fixed. Any tires for these cars are too damn expensive.

Don't get me wrong i don't rotate my tires either , but alignments go off so by the time you notice it your tires are already jacked , so if you want to AVOID problems like this rotate your tires and have alignments done yearly or so. But i did not know they had a diffrent tire size.

Yep we have larger tires/rims up front than the rear!

We (Firestone) recommend getting an alignment every 5K-6K miles, but I've seen where some "experts" say you only need one every 10,000 miles. Your issue is definitely an alignment issue, looks like too much negative camber.

Hey Kyle, how do you like those RE050As???
