tire options???
ok so if uve read my other thread about the jacked up rears u know y i need new ones. anyway everyone seems to have gotten wither the goodyear f1 or their is always the factory pos. anyone got anything else and what kinda places u guys finding good prices on tires because a couple of the local shops are nuts if they think im paying their prices. lol speaking of local shops the guy argued with me for like 5min about how i was wrong about the wider tires being on the fron of my car. he said his book said the wider went on the rear and it would be stupid to have the wider up front because it would handle like **** and look horrible

The guy at the tire shop is a jackass that doesn't know a thing about the GXP. From what I've read, GM actually put some research into this (wider front) issue and said the car performed the best with this setup...so stick with it.
Go to tirerack and search for the sizes you need. I'm putting 20s on mine with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT (summer) tires, and from everything I've heard and read, it's one of the best tires out there, and also the cheapest performance tire available. I got a set of 255/35ZR20 for $555 shipped.

Try looking at the Goodyear Eagle F1-A/S tire. Hands down the best tire I have ever used and I have used some of the best out there including the Michelin Pliot Sport A/S and P-zero Nero tires aswell.

My Kumhos have been awesome! but since I started working for Firestone/Bridgestone, I've been wanting to try some Bridgestones. They're pretty expensive though, even w/my employeee discount.
As far as budget performance tires, Kumhos are great.
