Default a few ls4 qs

me and some buddys are looking to do a ls4 swap into one of our friends 99 gtp. what im wondering is if i got a ls1 block stuck a ls4 crank in it and serpentine system will the ls4 tranny still mount up to it. and if not can the displacement on demand be tuned out?

I have no idea on your first question, but yes the displacement on demand can be tuned out.

the first question is basicly is the ls1 block compatible with the ls4 crank and serpentine system. and will the ls1 block mount to the ls4 transmission? but thank you on the other response

Can't confirm the crank. LS4 and LS1 use the same bore spacing, so the main journals will match up, not sure if GM did something stupid like changing the main journal diameter. At any rate, given the relatively low production numbers of the LS4, it wouldn't make much sense. Hearsay has it that the only difference between the two is the shorter snout and flexplate mount.

The remote mounted water pump will bolt up to any LSx engine. You may need to fab some mounts for the rest of the accessories and idlers for the serpentine belt.

LS4 uses a different transmission flange (at least the bolt pattern is different) from the LS1 in order to mount the 4T65 trans, so you're going to need an adapter plate.
