with the stock t-stat and using the predator, I've adjusted my fan power/percentages and the highest ECT I've seen since then is about 192-195...

And I am not really looking for gains from a thermostat, just looking to attempt to cool that engine bay down some more come summer, that thing gets HOT.

yeah, these things friggin roast under that hood... last year I removed that black seal from across the back of the hood/engine bay so some heat can get out from the back of the hood...
and like I said, cranked up the fan power/percentages with the predator...
ya know what - the stock/OEM tune has them only set to 52 or 52/54% up at the highest temps!!! that's nuts!! and even up to that point, they only start them out at like 10% and gradually go up to the 54%. couldn't believe that when I looked in at the tune file...
needless to say, I cranked 'em up... starting from 25% and worked my way up to 90% at the highest temps... think I have the settings at 25, 50, 50, 75, 75, and 90% for all the rest...
