I guess the bigger Q is why would you want it to? It comes on sporadically with the defroster system, but aside from that, do you need AC in the middle of winter in Illinois?

Since I have 2-door cars, I use the 2-40 air on most days in the summer, so keeping everything circulating would be a good thing in my case.

Sunroof doesn't open past half way
Loss of all interior lighting randomly over 50 mph (the first time was a shocker)

Burnt out foglights
Dead driver's power seat
Leaking coolant
Leaking P/S fluid
SES codes for the stupid gas cap
and my personal favorite....my OEM throttle body was only operating at 61% open.....that will kill your performance. Surely there's ones I'm forgetting....
