Got some new parts
The camaro is running again after its 4 month slumber and now it can be moved out of the way so im going to put the monte under the knife starting this weekend.
Basically im finding it easier to just yank the engine/trans out the top because im gonna plunk that LS2 cam in and pull the side cover of the trans to install that chain.
Didnt have the dough to buy the 400$ input shaft right now, but ill just keep pushing on with it. Should be able to turn it around in one day provided i dont run into any big issues.
I've got 2 LS1 engine builds lined up and a 370 to build for my car yet as soon as the monte is done so it will be a quick one. ive got 26x 9.5" hoosier QTPs for it and gunning to punch it into the mid 12s on motor, still on a 100 % stock cat back.
Warranty is almost up and its time to get it some more mods.
You're changing the Z's motor??? Now that you guys are magazine cover models, will that hurt it's value?
The W bodies are similar, ditch the hood, ditch the axles, unbolt the a/c compressor and straight up and out.
I will take plenty of pics.
The camaro is geting a 9.5:1 370, unported LS6 heads, 20+ psi. going for 1,000 RWHP/TQ
Also buying a Harley NIGHT ROD Special here ina couple weeks to tinker with.
