Default 3.69 4T65E gear set FS

Since i dont know when im gonna have time do this project on my car as i have like 5 other LSx cam installs coming up and my camaro to complete... Id figure id offer this gear set that i bought about a month ago up.

It was 360 shipped... Its just the cogs and the 7/8" single chain, still in the packaging.

These are a direct replacment for the stock 3.29 ratio, just need HP tuner to correct the speedo after. Its as simple as poping the side cover off the trans, unbolt the complete valve body ( no screwing with check *****) and swap these in.

Looking to get $320 shipped.

how bad does it hurt the mileague on the LS4?

P.S. Stock is 2.93

I know it says somewhere that is has "Effective gear ratio 3.29" trust me we had mine out and we took pics/measured/counted teeth compared to the 3.29 15/16th chain and gears we put in and the stock is 2.93.

I could not imagine having 3.69 in this car, not sure if I would do it.

why couldn't you imagine having 3.69 in the car.. or are you talkin about your turbo

Just because even non-turbo it would accelerate insanely fast with 3.69's first would be way more useless then stock gearing.

But the wheel spin wouldnt be as long as the stocker gears produce because the wheel speed they produce... I mean on nuts alone, with a 3200 stall up and stab mine can blaze the RSA's through 40 in 1st with smoke rolling past the front windows. You would probabaly cut that spin time in half as it would be searching for 2nd gear alot sooner. It is pretty ghay that these things are like glides. With my 6500 rpm 1-2 shift its grabbing 2nd right at 60mph now and grabbing 3rd @ 95 shifting at 6k. Thats one good thing about the rockers and springs, is now i can be doing 45 i have it set to downshift to 1st yet, suprising all the people that know W-bodies cant go from a 40 hit because they are in the pit of 2nd.

At least with the 6500 shift point the 1-2 bog is gone now however.

I sold the gear set now so i guess we will never find out what exactly they will do.
