Installed the magnaflow cat back last week.. Sound is right where i want it to be.
Nice rumble, not to loud till you get on it.. Then it screams. Cruising on Hwy
you can barely tell.. no drone. Install was a snap... But tips definitely stick out
too far. Here's what i did.. after driving it for a few days i went back underneath
and things needed to be adjusted. I was able to move the first two pipes and clamps
up a considerable amount. Then re-tighten.. That helped but not enough. Next i had to take my Sawsall and cut 1 1/4 off of the muffler exits ( not the tips ,you dont want to cut tips) Now they're right where they need to be, pretty much flush w bumper.

Originally i wanted to go w custom exhaust but could'nt find someone to do the work
in Stainless steel. All in all im happy w the magnaflow.. looks and sounds awesome

Hey i just got my cat-back installed last week and have noticed that the pipes hit the right part of the sway bar over bumps and potholes.

Anybody have this issue or any part of the cat-back hitting anything over bumps?

I will probably tell my mechanic to check and see if he can loosen and maneuver the sway bar so its not directly up against it, or if that doesn't work connect the catback piping even closer together. Not sure yet.

You can't move the sway bar, but you can move the exhaust some. That is what I have to do to mine to get the tips lined up just right! G/L man, hope this helps.
