Default static in rear speakers

I just got a new amp installed and replaced all my stock speakers but kept my stock head unit and now I hear alot of static in my rear speakers. I can't seem to find the cause of the problem, I'm thinking it could be because I used the stock wiring but I don't know. If you might know my problem please let me know.

if it wasn't doing it with the stock amp i don't see why it would do it with aftermarket. i don;t think theres a need to upgrade the wiring it can either handle the watts or it cannot. When they installed or "you" installed your aftermarket amp did they do anything to your stock wiring ? Cut it anywhere ? Some how your getting interference also try turning your stereo on while the car isnt running and see if theres a difference anything to try to reduce interference

I would have UPGRADED the stock wiring. I never keep stock wiring in my cars once an AMP or aftermarket speakers are installed.

Bad speakers. Most likely.... you have a short.

What did you use to convert to rca's, if it was a cheap line converter, I've had them go bad. Try swaping the rca's front to rear and see if the static goes to the front. May also possibly be a bad amp. Good luck keep us posted.

I tried swaping the rca's and the problem continued, the amp is good, and the problem only occurs in the rear speakers, I believe the problem didn't occur before in the stock amp was because this Alpine amp is much louder

Is the kind of static that you get AFTER you blow out the speakers?
