A while back I purchased a shift kit from the W-Body Store. I was just wondering if any of you have run this kit and what your opinions are? I will be doing a filter, fluid, transmission pan, and shift kit install tomorrow. Any tips would be great. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Taz. I was more concerned about how the w-body stores kit shifts. Does it bang into gear or does it shift crisply? I am not really concerned about the install, it seems pretty basic. Thanks in advance.

I am done with all the installs. I let the car warm up for 1/2hr and the tranny pan didn't get too hot. I think this will significantly help with cooling plus it looks bad ***! Some advice, mark the three lines coming out of the accumulator with a sharpie and then it is a piece of cake to know how far the lines need to be seated into the accumulator. I had a little sludge on the factory magnet but overall I didn't detect no chucks or anything like that. I guess I need to update my sig now.

I personally think it is much better than stock. It isn't bone jarring but you can tell that the shifts are firmer. I used the W-Body kit. It worked really well. Not a bad deal for 18 bucks.

It is the same one but they were out of stock so I bought mine elsewhere. It is worth it for convenience and cooling purposes. Mine never goes over 200 degrees now.
