I could take a picture. I can only get a bolt in one side of the "dog bone" bracket, which covers the rubber mount I flipped, and the other side will be off by about half a bolt. I flipped it such that the open side is now face up, 90 degrees towards the motor.

try flipping the dog bone over...

make sure you don't tighten up either end until you have both bolts through, so you can still move the dog bone to get it line up on both ends..

I got it, thanks guys. I didn't realize how much strength it would take. Giving it some good power I was able to flex the mount enough to jam the bolt through. Now hopefully a test drive soon.

Put the bolt facing the front first do not tighten it, try using a good screw driver by putting it through the mount on the motor and partly through the dog bone and apply pressure to get them to line up with your other hand stick the bolt on the other side. hope this makes sense. I had to do this since my motor mount was pretty baked as I did this at about 18K miles.

I had the same problem when I did the flip after getting rid of the poly mount. I had my daughter rev the engine while I tried to get it back in. That worked.

Or you could put the car in neutral and set the E-brake and the engine moves very easy then.

That brings back memories of changing my plugs on my L67 Monte.

OH do I miss that car.

There are a few threads with the photo you need. Scroll through the first couple pages in LS4 section and you;ll likely come across it.
