you guys dont have gas stations with reward points? this gas station near me has this sweet deal where if you get a fountain soda, each one you get they give you 2 cents off per gallon of gas. other things inside the station give you different sized rewards, certain energy drinks are like 4 cents off, food is like 5-10 cents off depending on what you get. you put it on this card and you can wrack up as much money as you want to take off per gallon of gas. it adds up rather quickly too.

down by where I work, an hour south, Mobil is $4.85 and Sunoco is $4.90....

We have a supermarket here that gives you $.10/g off for every $100 you spend shopping. It accumulates over a couple months, then they give you a certain time period to redeem your points. I try to wait until I save $.30-$.40/g before I fill up.
Aside from that, I think I paid $4.39/g yesterday. I was/am broke, so I only put in $20.
