shouldnt be a problem. only thing that may is the sensor if you have a driveablility issue like surging or rough idle and they see an aftermarket maf sensor

ya the JET MAF helped.. not as much as the K&N intake but it was worth the money. plus its a good supporting mod when you go to change the cam.

An aftermarket MAF sensor means nothing untial we can get a better intake manifold. The stock opening has really been bothering me lately.

I retuned my sensor. the only difference in the maf is the screen is removed and the airfoil is cut short im not a major in fluid dynamics or anything but generally you want the transition to be as gental as possible so turbulance is minimised. i installed it and it did seem to help at really high rpm but the low end seemed to suffer a lot. i would just remove the screen from your maf and save the three hundred bucks and your low end power.

We discussed MAF changes on the LS1 side; I had an after market (not gonna name the manufacturer) one on my Z, but returned to stock and found it worked better and was smoother running.

I thought the stockers were good to 550 hp; the LS4 is no where near that, so my assumptions are that the stock one is more than adequate.

The bottle necks in the intake need to be addressed, although we have folks in the low to mid 13's with stock stuff on the car.
