It probably had him pinned against the wheel and the gas pedal. ROFL

This goes back to ClubGP and we'll leave it at that. I think someone posted a vid of them holding the selector between R&N and revving up to 6500 or something. I don't do stupid stuff like that

Well they have to, even if you're at fault the insurance still has to pay for the damage your dumbass did. On the other hand they can triple your rates and make their money back.

That was my first thought. Buff makes a good point about the ebrake too, but to not even have your foot on the brake pedal takes an already bad idea and makes it worse.

As for what happened. The story I got was that he kind of froze up and jerked his had back too behind him. This lead to the gas staying down long enough to get up to 43 and him jerking the wheel. There wasn't a car right behind him, it was back a bit, still braking to a stop. That driver also swerved, so they sideswiped each other basically, that spun him out into the barrier.

I'm still laughing at his dumbass. I feel bad for him, but still.....

For the rest of his life, every time he goes 'Oh my car could take that car out...' I'm going to chime in 'You mean like that Mustang you took out back in June?'

I honestly think he shouldn't ever drive again. He's not smart enough to have a license. If the state was smart they would pull it. He's clearly not a good or smart driver and anybody that can get up to 43mph in reverse on accident has slow reflexes and dumb as a box of rocks.

Good Call on his end not wanting to void the warranty..
How'd that work out for him?

Do it in a parking lot and video it. I want to see 43mph after the launch.

Actually I tried it today. MAJOR stupid. Once you get past like 3k RPMs your hand bumps the car into reverse every time and you end up jumping backwards. I jumped like 3 feet, so no 43MPH but....yeah don't try it its stupid. Plus it took me about 10 tries to get the shifter perfectly in between reverse and neutral.

It's gay.

I tired it too. In an open parking lot of course. With the parking break on AND foot on the break. It was hard getting the shifter right. Definately really stupid and pointless.

Was it stupid and pointless before or after you did it?

Both. Maybe Nacho can chime in whether or not it was gay before or after he did it, too.

And, I'm sure buying my car used would be alot better than some other people. This aside, my car never gets beat on, raced, or abused at all.

Yeah...it was a PITA to get the shifter right, and almost every time when you rev it, the shifter pops into reverse. It was stupid before and after doing it .

I didn't have it pop into reverse at all, but it was hard nonetheless. I can't imagine trying to do that in traffic just to try and showoff. But, we better stop discussing this Nacho we're making ourselves look bad for trying it.
